About the League
Our Mission
The Ada Soccer Association, Ada, Ohio, exists to give kids in and around Ada, Ohio a fun, affordable, and welcoming introduction to soccer. We focus on skill development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship over competition — every kid plays, every kid improves.
The purpose of the Association is to:
- Promote youth soccer in a safe, positive, and educational environment.
- Develop sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and character among players.
- Provide recreational and competitive soccer opportunities for youth participants.
- Support coaches, referees, volunteers, and families in fostering player development.
- Operate as a nonprofit organization for the benefit of youth soccer participants.
Affiliation
Ada Soccer Association, Ada, Ohio, is a proud member of the Black Swamp Soccer League, which coordinates rec and travel soccer play across our region, and the Ohio Soccer Association, our statewide governing body.

Ada Soccer Association plays U6, U8, U10, U12, and U14 divisions. Roster sizes and game lengths above are per Black Swamp Soccer League playing guidelines for the comparable divisions; check with the board for U6 and U14 specifics.
Age Group Eligibility: Players are placed in age groups based on birthdays between August 1 and July 31. This registration cycle aligns with the updated US Soccer age-group calendar and helps ensure players remain with the same age group throughout the seasonal year.
Registration
Spring Season: Registration window – January 1 to January 31.
Fall Season: Registration window – June 1 to June 30.
Season Length
8-week season with one or more practices and one or more games per week. Weather makeup dates as needed.
Volunteering
The league runs on volunteer coaches and helpers. Contact the board if you'd like to coach, assist, or help with concessions.
